She teaches families how to create a core foundation for their dogs to make for happy, healthy, content dogs. The web is a visual place...and this site beautifully combines Barb's attention to detail, understanding of the value of simplicity in design...with her love of animals. |

She also desired accessories that could be worn several ways, depending on a garment's neckline, yet easy to put on and off! We started with her business card and the site evolved with photos of her jewelry and slogan. |

| Van Dyke Organics Van Dyke Organics is a fifth generation California family farm specializing in organic dried fruit. The farm was established in Santa Clara County the summer of 1921. Peter and his brothers have been growing and drying fruit organically in the sunny Santa Clara Valley at the base of the historic Gavilan Mountains since 1976; one of the first to grow and dry fruit organically in California. Peter wanted a site to introduce his fruit online and eventually will offer the ability to purchase various fruit spread and other products. |

The site evolved as we created a table of contents inked to introductory content and then each piece laid out magazine-style. | Solar Jobs USA Located in the San Francisco Bay area near Silicon Valley, Solar Jobs USA has been supporting the meteoric expansion of the solar industry by connecting industry leaders with the talent they need to eclipse their competition. This was a collaboration with Marketing firm Bond Communications. Patti Bond and I worked with owner Delia Caraway to create a lively Joomla! CMS site that would allow her to upload future job listings. We added photo features, PayPal capabilities, wrappers, slideshows, polling, Google Advertising and marketing-oriented titles. |

They believe in respect for others; in the capacity of human beings to change; and in the importance of the family and the community in the development of resilient, responsible and capable people. They have offices in 33 state prisons and wanted a more professional look for their primary statewide site. |

| Ruth Campbell: Organizer and Irlen Screener In 1990, Ruth began her organizing business in Santa Cruz County utilizing skills and expertise she had developed both in the classroom and in various office settings. She is also a Certified Irlen Screener, a diagnostic evaluation to to reduce or eliminate perceptual problems that may be affecting learning, attentiveness, behavior, and physical well being. Ruth came up with the idea of using an umbrella visual to encompass the variety of services she provides. We worked closely to come up with the look that expresses her philosophy and services. |

| ITC Entertainment Mike Marquez, owner of ITC Entertainment, is a Watsonville-based dj who handles weddings, parties and corporate events. He and his wife, Julie, wanted a site to highlight his music selections and give the visitor examples of past successful events. You can see ITC at work every Friday and Saturday nights at Cilantros in Watsonville. |

| Edge Painting Jeff had a great custom logo...but it was very bright! I didn't want it to conflict with his client photos. Plus, I wanted to include the "edge" concept in the design. Jeff opted for a continuous slideshow. The format enables him to add new client work as it becomes available. It only takes a few minutes to add new shots. |

So, we met at their manufacturing facility in Watsonville to review what they liked and what they wanted to change. A dozen e-mails later, we had a fully functional site that includes a slideshow of beautiful kitchens, vanities and entertainment centers. |

I added color to the logo and worked with them to create a look that captures a little of the bucolic beauty of agriculture and the fun, rustic features of the museum. |

Senior Network Services is a Santa Cruz County community resource agency that links older adults and persons with disabilities with support services essential to their physical and mental well-being. This nonprofit publishes a resource directory and needed a complete re-design, including publishing a comprehensive resource directory online. The text size and concepts were developed especially for seniors. |
