Pajaro River Task Force

To convene a collaborative planning process to develop a recommended Locally Preferred Plan for modification, operation, and maintenance of the Pajaro River Flood Control Project.

Objective

The Task Force identified that the overarching main objective is a Locally Preferred Plan for the Pajaro River that:

• Is fair and equitable
• Is sustainable regarding carrying capacity, economic viability, environmental sensitivity and social responsibility
• Provides broad public education
• Develops a local funding program
• Addresses and potentially develops a governance structure
• Secures an agreement on an interim and post construction maintenance plan
• The Pajaro River Task Force Work Plan describes activities of the Task Force
